Effector of small Rab GTPases involved in junctional complex assembly through regulation of cell adhesion molecule transport to the plasma membrane and actin cytoskeleton reorganization. Also participates in actin cytoskeleton reorganization directly via F-actin interaction or indirectly via actinins and filamins.
