Product Specific Information

To minimize cross-reactivity, the goat anti-mouse IgG whole antibodies have been pre cross-adsorbed against bovine IgG, goat IgG, rabbit IgG, rat IgG, human IgG, and human serum.
Cross-adsorption is a purification step that increases antibody specificity, reducing background staining and cross-reactivity.
The secondary antibody solution passes through column matrices containing immobilized serum proteins from potentially cross-reactive species. Highly specific antibodies are collected after multiple passages, resulting in a highly cross-adsorbed preparation.

Usage Note:
Centrifuge the conjugate solution briefly before use and use only the supernatant to minimize nonspecific background staining. Optimal dilution should be determined empirically for each application.

Target Information

Anti-Mouse secondary antibodies are affinity-purified with well-characterized specificity for mouse immunoglobulins.
They are useful for detection, sorting, or purification of target molecules and provide increased sensitivity through signal amplification.
