Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, it is recommended to perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The AKR1A1 gene encodes an enzyme belonging to the aldo/keto reductase superfamily, which includes over 40 enzymes and proteins. Also known as aldehyde reductase, this enzyme reduces biogenic and xenobiotic aldehydes and is expressed in nearly all tissues. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants exist, all encoding the same protein.
