Target Information

SCAMPs (Secretory Carrier Membrane Proteins)는 세포막 수송에 관여하는 막 단백질로, 다양한 세포에서 광범위하게 분포합니다. 대부분의 SCAMPs(예: SCAMP1)는 N-terminal cytoplasmic NPF 반복 서열, 4개의 중심 막통과 영역, 짧은 C-terminal cytoplasmic tail을 가지며, NPF 반복은 내포작용(endocytosis)에 관여하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다. 그러나 SCAMP4는 이러한 NPF 반복을 가지지 않아 내포작용 기능은 없을 것으로 추정됩니다. SCAMP4는 신경발달장애, 성장저하, 안면기형 및 사시 등과 같은 질환과 연관되어 있습니다.
