• In ELISAs, this antibody shows less than 5% cross-reactivity with recombinant human IL-12 (p35/p40 heterodimer) and IL-23 (p19/p40 heterodimer).
• No significant cross-reactivity or interference was observed with a wide range of recombinant cytokines including IL-1, IL-2, IL-3, IL-4, IL-5, IL-6, IL-7, IL-8, IL-9, IL-10, IL-11, IL-13 and their receptors.
• Reconstitute at 0.5 mg/mL in sterile PBS.

Target Information

IL-12 is an interleukin produced by dendritic cells, neutrophils, macrophages, and human lymphoblastoid cells upon antigenic stimulation. It is a heterodimeric cytokine encoded by IL-12A (p35) and IL-12B (p40).
IL-23 is also a heterodimeric cytokine sharing the IL-12B subunit with IL-12, combined with IL-23A (p19).
IL-12 promotes leukocyte migration and tumor necrosis via endothelial adhesion molecule expression, while IL-23 is essential for Th17 cell activation and pro-inflammatory cytokine production.
