DAPK3 (ZIPK)는 세린/트레오닌 키나아제로, 세포 이동성, 평활근 수축, 세포 사멸 과정과 기능적으로 연관되어 있습니다. ZIPK는 각질형성세포의 데스모좀 및 표피 각질화된 피막의 구성 요소입니다. N-말단은 세포막과 상호작용하며, C-말단은 중간 필라멘트와 결합합니다. Rod 도메인을 통해 envoplakin과 복합체를 형성하며, cornified envelope과 desmosome 및 중간 필라멘트를 연결하는 역할을 할 수 있습니다. 또한 AKT1/PKB와 상호작용하여 AKT1 매개 신호 전달에 관여할 가능성이 보고되었습니다.
