Target Information
FMR1 단백질은 RNA에 결합하며 폴리솜과 관련되어 있습니다. 이 단백질은 핵에서 세포질로의 mRNA 수송에 관여할 수 있습니다. 5' UTR의 삼핵산 반복은 일반적으로 6–53회 존재하지만, 55–230회로 확장될 경우 취약 X 증후군의 원인이 됩니다. 또한 이러한 반복 확장은 조기 난소 부전의 한 형태를 유발할 수 있습니다. 여러 대체 스플라이싱 전사 변이체가 보고되었으며, 서로 다른 세포 위치에서 다양한 단백질 이소폼을 형성합니다.
