For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, an additional desalting step is recommended (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

KDR (also known as FLK1 or VEGFR2) is a type III receptor tyrosine kinase that binds vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) with high affinity. It is expressed early in development by endothelial cell precursors.
This receptor is involved in signal transduction and trafficking regulated by multiple factors such as Rab GTPase, P2Y purine nucleotide receptor, integrin αVβ3, and T-cell protein tyrosine phosphatase.
Mutations in FLK1 (VEGF Receptor 2) are implicated in infantile capillary hemangiomas.
