Target Information
Interleukin-2 (IL-2)는 활성화된 T 세포의 증식, B 세포의 분화, NK 세포, 단핵구 및 대식세포의 기능 조절에 중요한 면역조절성 사이토카인입니다.
IL-2는 IL-2R(IL-2 receptor)이라는 이형삼합체 단백질 복합체를 통해 신호를 전달하며, 이 복합체의 감마 사슬은 IL-4 및 IL-7과 공유됩니다.
성숙한 흉선세포에서 IL-2 유전자의 발현은 단일 대립유전자로 제한되어 있으며, 이는 단일 유전자의 정밀한 발현 조절을 위한 독특한 메커니즘을 나타냅니다.
유사한 유전자가 결핍된 생쥐 모델에서는 궤양성 대장염 유사 질환이 나타나며, 이는 항원 자극에 대한 면역 반응 조절에서 IL-2의 필수적인 역할을 시사합니다.
