Target Information
SIN3B acts as a transcriptional repressor. It interacts with MXI1 to repress MYC-responsive genes and antagonize MYC oncogenic activities. It binds MAD-MAX heterodimers through MAD, tethering SIN3B to DNA for transcriptional repression. It also forms a complex with FOXK1 to repress transcription.
