Target Information

MAPK9 (JNK2) is a serine/threonine kinase that plays an important role in the MAPK pathway. JNK2 (p54a, SAPK1a), along with JNK1 and JNK3, contributes to nuclear signal transduction through environmental stress activation and subsequent phosphorylation of the nuclear transcription factor p53.
