This antibody detects endogenous levels of total UBAC1 protein.
Target Information
UBAC1 belongs to the subfamily of ubiquitously expressed heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoproteins (hnRNPs). These RNA-binding proteins associate with heterogeneous nuclear RNA (hnRNA) and influence pre-mRNA processing, mRNA metabolism, and transport. While primarily nuclear, some hnRNPs shuttle between the nucleus and cytoplasm. UBAC1 contains two RRM domains that bind RNA.
