Target Information
Vasodilator-stimulated phosphoprotein (VASP)는 Ena-VASP 단백질 패밀리의 구성원으로, E/DFPPPPXD/E 모티프를 포함하는 단백질과 결합하는 EHV1 N-말단 도메인을 가지고 있습니다. 이 단백질은 세포 부착점(focal adhesions)에 Ena-VASP 단백질을 위치시키며, 중간 영역의 프롤린 풍부 도메인은 SH3 및 WW 도메인 함유 단백질과 결합합니다. C-말단 EVH2 도메인은 사량체화(tetramerization)를 매개하고 G 및 F 액틴과 결합합니다. VASP는 액틴 필라멘트 형성과 세포 부착, 이동에 중요한 역할을 하며, 인테그린-세포외기질 상호작용을 조절하는 세포 내 신호 전달 경로에도 관여할 수 있습니다. 또한 PKA 및 PKG에 의해 조절됩니다.
