Target Information
Phosphoinositide-specific phospholipase C (PLC)는 수용체 매개 신호전달의 초기 단계에서 중요한 역할을 하며, phosphatidylinositol 4,5-bisphosphate로부터 inositol 1,4,5-triphosphate와 diacylglycerol을 생성합니다.
PLC에는 여러 이소효소가 존재하며, PLC beta1–4, PLC gamma1–2, PLC delta1–2, PLCε 등이 포함됩니다.
PLC delta1은 칼슘 신호 증폭자로서 비정형 GTP 결합 단백질에 의해 활성화되며, 뇌, 심장, 폐, 고환에서 높게 발현됩니다.
PLC delta2는 위암 및 장 이형성에서 발현이 증가하며, 위암성 변형의 잠재적 마커로 제시되고 있습니다.
