PKM2 (Pyruvate Kinase M2)는 피루브산과 ATP로부터 인산인산엔올피루브산을 생성하는 효소입니다. PKM2는 갑상선 호르몬과 상호작용하여 세포 대사 조절에 관여하며, Opa 단백질과 결합해 세균 부착 및 침입 과정에도 관련이 있는 것으로 알려져 있습니다. 세 가지 전사 변이체가 존재하며, 두 가지 서로 다른 아이소폼을 암호화합니다.
