For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform additional desalting using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL (Product #89882).

Target Information

CD38 (NAD+ glycohydrolase) is a type II transmembrane glycoprotein involved in activation, proliferation, and differentiation of mature lymphocytes, as well as apoptosis of myeloid and lymphoid progenitor cells.
It functions as a multi-catalytic ectoenzyme (ADP-ribosyl cyclase, cyclic ADP-ribose hydrolase, NAD+ glycohydrolase) and as a cell surface receptor.
Antibodies to CD38 aid in subtyping lymphomas and leukemias, detecting plasma cells (e.g., myelomas), and serve as markers for activated B and T cells.
CD38 is expressed at high levels in pancreas, liver, kidney, malignant lymphoma, and neuroblastoma.
Diseases associated with CD38 dysfunction include chronic lymphocytic leukemia and Richter’s Syndrome.
