CHEK1 (CHK1)는 DNA 손상 시 복제 진행을 억제하는 세린/트레오닌 단백질 키나아제입니다. DNA 손상 반응 체크포인트 네트워크의 핵심 매개체로, 유전체 안정성을 유지하는 데 중요한 역할을 합니다. CHK1 억제 시 p53 결핍 암세포는 유사분열 파국과 세포사멸을 유도하지만 정상 세포는 G1기에서 정지 상태를 유지합니다. 따라서 CHK1은 항암 치료에서 매력적인 표적 단백질로 간주됩니다.
