Target Information

Anti-Rabbit secondary antibodies are affinity-purified antibodies with well-characterized specificity for rabbit immunoglobulins and are useful in detection, sorting, or purification of their specified targets.
Secondary antibodies offer increased versatility, enabling use with multiple detection systems (e.g., HRP, AP, fluorescence). They provide enhanced sensitivity through signal amplification since multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody.
Typically, these antibodies are generated by immunizing the host with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species and are further purified or modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, antibody fragmentation, label conjugation) to yield highly specific reagents.
