Recombinant Human soluble BAFF is a 152 amino acid polypeptide (17.0 kDa) containing the TNF-like portion of the extracellular domain of BAFF.

Target Information
BAFF is a membrane-bound cytokine expressed by B cell lineage cells. The soluble form binds to receptors TNFRSF13B/TACI, TNFRSF17/BCMA, and TNFRSF13C/BAFFR.
It acts as a potent B cell activator, essential for proliferation and differentiation of B cells. BAFF is also expressed by T lymphocytes, promoting T cell activation and survival.
Isoforms representing alternatively spliced and glycosylated variants have been identified.
