Target Information

Anti-Mouse secondary antibodies are affinity-purified antibodies with well-characterized specificity for mouse immunoglobulins. They are useful in the detection, sorting, or purification of the specified target. Secondary antibodies offer increased versatility, enabling the use of multiple detection systems (e.g., HRP, AP, fluorescence), and can provide greater sensitivity through signal amplification as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody. These antibodies are typically generated by immunizing the host animal with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species and can be further purified or modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, antibody fragmentation, label conjugation) to produce highly specific reagents.
