The MA5-17980 immunogen is mouse CD200-rat CD4 fusion protein.
Target Information
CD200 is a type-1 membrane glycoprotein with two immunoglobulin domains, belonging to the immunoglobulin superfamily. It interacts with CD200R on myeloid cells to inhibit macrophage activation. Homologues are found in herpesviruses and poxviruses. CD200 may regulate myeloid cell activity and inhibit macrophage lineage signals. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants exist.
Diseases associated with CD200 dysfunction include Mantle Cell Lymphoma and Primary Hypertrophic Osteoarthropathy.
