Product Specific Information

For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform additional desalting (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

The DnaJ family is one of the largest chaperone families, characterized by the J domain. DnaJ heat shock proteins from E. coli are regulated by the htpR protein and play key roles in the HSP70 chaperone system by stimulating ATP hydrolysis. These proteins contain cysteine-rich zinc finger regions forming peptide-binding domains essential for chaperone function.
DnaJ proteins mediate proteolysis and regulate protein degradation, exocytosis, and endocytosis.
DnaJB2 (DnaJ homolog subfamily B member 2), also known as HSJ1 or HSPF3, is primarily expressed in the brain, especially in the frontal cortex and hippocampus. Two isoforms are generated by alternative splicing.
