Product Specific Information
- For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve ~1 mg/mL final concentration.
- For conjugation experiments, perform desalting using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The proteasome is a multicatalytic proteinase complex with a highly ordered ring-shaped 20S core structure. It consists of 4 rings of 28 non-identical subunits: 2 rings of 7 alpha subunits and 2 rings of 7 beta subunits. Proteasomes are abundant in eukaryotic cells and cleave peptides in an ATP/ubiquitin-dependent, non-lysosomal pathway. The immunoproteasome processes class I MHC peptides.
This gene encodes a member of the peptidase T1A family, a 20S core alpha subunit. Three alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
