For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL (Product #89882).

Target Information

This gene encodes a member of the 2-5A synthetase family, essential in the innate immune response to viral infection.
The protein is induced by interferons and uses ATP in 2′-specific nucleotidyl transfer reactions to synthesize 2′,5′-oligoadenylates, which activate RNase L, leading to viral RNA degradation and inhibition of viral replication.
Three known members of this gene family are located in a cluster on chromosome 12, and alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been described.
