Target Information
LGR7 is a low density lipoprotein receptor of 757 amino acids belonging to the G-protein coupled receptor 1 family with rhodopsin-like receptor activity.
It has seven transmembrane regions, a cysteine-rich motif, 10 LRR domains, and 5 N-glycosylation sites in the N terminus.
Research reports show that it acts as a receptor for relaxins (RLN1 and RLN2), stimulating adenylate cyclase activation, substrate adhesion, and chemomigratory capacity of mononuclear leukocytes.
LGR7 is critical for mediating these biological responses using RNA interference lentiviral short hairpin constructs.
It is widely expressed in 86% of 15 primary EC tissue samples, including brain, kidney, testis, and endometrium.
