Target Information
EBI3 (Epstein-Barr virus Induced-3)는 hematopoietin receptor family에 속하는 분비형 당단백질로, Th2형 면역반응의 유도 및 Th2 매개 조직 염증 조절에 중요한 역할을 합니다.
EBI3는 IL-12의 p28 및 p35 서브유닛과 이합체를 형성하여 각각 IL-27과 IL-35를 생성합니다. IL-27은 항원제시세포가 TLR 자극 시 생성하는 초기 산물로, Th17 세포 분화를 억제합니다.
EBI3는 광범위하게 발현되며, 수지상세포에서 TLR 신호를 통해 MyD88 및 NF-κB에 의해 전사적으로 조절됩니다.
EBI3 신호는 IL-17 생산을 억제하고 IL-10 과생산을 유도하여 지연형 과민반응을 억제합니다. 또한 폐 CD8+ T 세포를 통한 종양 전이 조절에 관여하며, 결핍 시 Th2 사이토카인 생산이 감소하여 천식성 기도 염증 조절에 영향을 미칩니다. EBI3 유전자 결손 마우스는 폐 전이로부터 보호받습니다.
