Ribosomal Protein S20 (RPS20)는 40S 리보솜 소단위체의 구성요소로, 세포질 내 119 아미노산 단백질입니다. 이 단백질은 16S 리보솜 RNA의 5' 및 3' 소영역과 상호작용하여 30S 리보솜 소단위체의 조립을 유도하는 데 중요한 역할을 합니다. 대부분의 리보솜 단백질 유전자와 마찬가지로 RPS20 유전자는 게놈 전반에 가공된 유사유전자로 존재합니다.
