Target Information
ATP2C2 (Secretory Pathway Ca2+/Mn2+-ATPase 2, SPCA2)는 P-type 양이온 수송 ATPase 계열에 속하는 단백질로, ATP 가수분해를 통해 세포질의 Ca2+를 골지체 내강으로 수송하는 Mg2+ 의존성 효소입니다.
ATP2C1 유전자 결함은 Hailey-Hailey disease를 유발하지만 ATP2C2는 이를 보상하지 않으며, 다른 생리적 역할을 수행하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다.
ATP2C1과 달리 ATP2C2는 제한된 발현 패턴을 가지며, Ca2+-ATPase 반응의 최대 전환율이 높고, 세포질 Ca2+ 활성화에 대한 친화도가 낮습니다.
ATP2C2의 과발현은 STIM1 및 STIM2 센서와 무관하게 ORAI1 채널을 통한 Ca2+ 유입을 유도하는 것으로 보고되었습니다.
