Target Information
OAS3는 interferon 유도성 단백질로 2-5A synthetase 패밀리에 속하며, 바이러스 감염 저항성, 세포 성장 조절, 분화 및 세포사멸에 관여합니다. OAS3는 주로 이합체 형태의 2',5'-oligoadenylate를 합성하며, GTP를 대체 기질로 사용할 수 있습니다. 이 단백질은 이중가닥 RNA에 결합하여 ATP를 PPP(A2'P5'A)N 형태의 올리고머로 중합하고, 이를 통해 RNase L을 활성화시켜 단일가닥 RNA를 절단합니다. OAS3는 태반 trophoblast에서 높은 수준으로 발현됩니다.
