Reconstitute the lyophilized antibody with deionized water (or equivalent) to a final concentration of 0.5 mg/mL.

Atezolizumab is a fully humanized, engineered monoclonal antibody of the IgG1 isotype against the protein programmed cell death-ligand 1 (PD-L1).
It blocks the interaction of PD-L1 with programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) and CD80 (B7-1) receptors.
PD-L1 can be highly expressed on certain tumors, leading to reduced activation of immune cells (particularly cytotoxic T-cells).
Inhibition of PD-L1 by atezolizumab removes this suppressive effect, promoting anti-tumor immune responses.
This mechanism is part of the broader strategy known as immune checkpoint inhibition.
