Product Specific Information
The HIB19 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD19, a 95 kDa transmembrane glycoprotein expressed on B cells throughout development except plasma cells. CD19 forms a multimolecular complex with CD21, CD81, Leu13, and MHC class II, associating with BCR to amplify signaling.
Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis
Applications Tested: Pre-diluted and validated for human peripheral blood cells at 5 µL (0.25 µg) per test.
Brilliant Violet™ 711 (BV711) emits at 713 nm and is suitable for cytometers equipped with a 405 nm violet laser. Use Super Bright Complete Staining Buffer or Brilliant Stain Buffer to minimize non-specific polymer interactions.
Light Sensitivity: Protect from light due to photo-induced oxidation.
Fixation: Compatible with IC Fixation Buffer or 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution; not compatible with methanol-based fixation.

Target Information
CD19 is a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily with two Ig-like domains. It is expressed on all peripheral B cells and some myeloid leukemia cells. CD19 acts as a signal-amplifying coreceptor for the B cell receptor (BCR), regulating normal and malignant B cell proliferation. Mutations cause hypogammaglobulinemia, while overexpression leads to B cell hyperactivity.
