This antibody detects endogenous levels of total Cubilin.
Target Information
Cubilin (CUBN) acts as a receptor for intrinsic factor–vitamin B12 complexes. The receptor function is supported by the presence of 27 CUB domains. Cubilin is expressed in the epithelium of the intestine and kidney. Mutations in CUBN may contribute to autosomal recessive megaloblastic anemia.
