For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of about 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

CD4 antigen is involved in recognition of MHC class II molecules and acts as a co-receptor for HIV.
It is primarily expressed in T helper cells, and also found in monocytes, macrophages, and dendritic cells.
Tissue-level expression includes thymus, lymph nodes, tonsils, spleen, and certain regions of brain and gut.
CD4 functions in T-cell activation via association with the T-cell receptor complex and Lck kinase, and may mediate neuronal damage in infectious or immune-mediated CNS diseases.
Multiple alternatively spliced transcripts have been identified (RefSeq, July 2017).
