Target Information
STOML2는 미토콘드리아 생합성과 활성 조절에 관여하는 단백질로, cardiolipin 생합성을 촉진하고 cardiolipin이 풍부한 막에 결합하여 prohibitin 등의 단백질을 안정화시킵니다. 이는 미토콘드리아 막의 기능적 마이크로도메인 조직에 기여합니다.
또한 세포 이동, 증식, T세포 활성화, 칼슘 항상성, 스트레스 반응 등 다양한 생물학적 과정에 관여하며, 스트레스에 대한 생존 반응으로 ATP 생산을 증가시키는 미토콘드리아 과융합에 필요합니다.
STOML2는 세포막의 기능적 도메인 조직 및 T세포 수용체 신호 복합체의 조절에도 관여할 수 있습니다.
