Target Information
The Slo3 channel is a novel potassium channel abundantly expressed in mammalian spermatocytes. It is expressed in both mouse and human testis and represents a unique potassium channel regulated by intracellular pH and membrane voltage. Due to its sensitivity to both pH and voltage, Slo3 may contribute to alkalization-mediated K(+) fluxes during sperm capacitation.
