MA1-720은 인간, 생쥐, 랫트, 소, 닭 조직의 G-protein-associated rhodopsin kinase 1a (GRK1a)를 검출합니다.
이 항체는 Western blot, immunofluorescence, immunoprecipitation에서 성공적으로 사용되었습니다.
Western blot에서 약 60 kDa의 GRK1a 단백질을 검출하며, 소 망막의 cone 및 rod outer segment에서 강한 면역형광 염색을 보입니다.
약한 염색은 cone의 세포체 및 시냅스 말단, rod의 inner segment에서 관찰됩니다.
면역원은 full length human GRK1이며, C-terminal region의 epitope을 인식합니다.
Target Information
GRK1은 G protein-coupled receptor kinase 하위 패밀리에 속하는 Ser/Thr protein kinase입니다.
빛에 대한 rod 광수용체의 빠른 탈감작을 매개하며, rhodopsin을 인산화하여 비활성화시킵니다.
GRK1의 결함은 Oguchi disease 2 (stationary night blindness Oguchi type-2)를 유발할 수 있습니다.
또한 GRK1은 PKA에 의해 인산화될 수 있으며, 이는 rhodopsin 인산화 능력을 감소시킵니다.
PKA에 의한 GRK1의 인산화는 어두운 환경에서 cAMP 수준이 높을 때 발생하는 것으로 추정됩니다.
