Product Specific Information

  • The 28-14-8 monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse MHC class I H-2D^b and cross-reacts with H-2L^d, H-2D^q, and/or H-2L^q.
  • Binding to the alpha 3 domain of H-2L^d is independent of beta2-microglobulin.
  • Each product contains one vial of NovaFluor conjugate and one vial of CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer.
  • Reported for use in flow cytometric analysis.
  • Tested using mouse splenocytes at ≤1 µg/test (100 µL final volume).
  • Optimize antibody titration for best results.
  • NovaFluor dyes are not compatible with DNA intercalating viability dyes (e.g., propidium iodide, 7-AAD, DAPI).
  • Use Invitrogen LIVE/DEAD Fixable Dead Cell stains for compatibility.

CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer Usage

  • Required for optimal staining with NovaFluor conjugates.
  • Add 5 µL per sample before combining antibody cocktails with cells.
  • For single-color controls, use 5 µL per 100 µL sample (10³–10⁸ cells).
  • Product ships with CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer (Cat. No. C001T06F01).
