Target Information
Prolactin (PRL)은 뇌하수체 호르몬으로, 유즙 생성 자극, 염분 및 수분 조절, 성장, 발달, 생식 등에 관여합니다. PRL은 세포막에 존재하는 prolactin receptor(PRLR)에 결합하여 신호 전달 경로를 개시합니다. PRLR은 cytokine receptor 계열에 속하며, 조직 및 종에 따라 약 40–100 kDa 크기의 짧은형과 긴형이 존재합니다. PRLR은 5개의 시스테인을 포함한 prolactin 결합 부위가 있는 세포외 영역, 단일 막관통 영역, 그리고 리간드 결합 및 세포 기능 조절에 영향을 미치는 세포질 영역으로 구성됩니다.
