Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Nuclear lamins form a network of intermediate-type filaments at the nucleoplasmic side of the nuclear membrane.
Two main subtypes exist: A-type lamins (lamin A, lamin C, lamin Adel 10) and B-type lamins (lamin B1, lamin B2).
Mutations in A-type lamins are associated with genetic disorders such as Emery-Dreifuss muscular dystrophy, dilated cardiomyopathy with conduction-system disease, and Dunnigan-type familial partial lipodystrophy.
A-type lamins are linked to cell differentiation and chromatin interaction, suggesting a regulatory role in gene expression.
