Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The expression systems are developed by cloning the specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production.

Target Information
Type I interferons (IFN-α and IFN-β) are structurally and functionally related proteins induced by viruses or double-stranded RNA, conferring an antiviral state in cells. IFN-α and IFN-β share a common cell surface receptor, while immune IFN (IFN-γ) binds to a distinct receptor.
The IFN-α/β receptor (IFNAR) is expressed as two alternatively spliced transcripts, IFNAR1 and IFNAR2, both involved in signal transduction and ligand binding.
