Reconstitute in sterile water to 0.1 mg/mL. Centrifuge vial before opening. Suspend the product by gently pipetting the recommended solution down the sides of the vial. DO NOT VORTEX. Allow several minutes for complete reconstitution.
For prolonged storage, dilute to working aliquots in a 0.1% BSA solution, store at -80°C and avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.

Target Information

CCL19, also known as MIP-3 beta (Macrophage Inflammatory Protein 3 beta), is a member of the CC subfamily of chemokines. It shares 32% amino acid sequence homology with CCL21.
CCL19 and CCL21 are expressed mainly by stromal cells in T cell-rich zones of lymph nodes and are critical mediators of the homeostatic trafficking of naive T cells and activated dendritic cells into secondary lymphoid organs.
They also play roles in T cell priming, activation, and lymphocyte recruitment to inflamed tissue. Both proteins signal via the G protein-coupled receptor CCR7, expressed on T cells and mature dendritic cells.
Although both exhibit the same affinity for CCR7, only CCL19 binding results in receptor desensitization and internalization.
