Product Specific Information
Store vial at -20°C prior to opening. Aliquot contents and freeze at -20°C or below for extended storage. Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing.
Centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature.
Stable for several weeks at 4°C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use.
Cyclin D3 affinity-purified antibody is directed against Cyclin D3 protein.
BLAST analysis suggests reactivity with mouse, human, and bovine Cyclin D3 based on 100% homology for the immunogen sequence.
No reactivity was observed against Cyclin D2.
Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the highly conserved cyclin family, characterized by periodic changes in abundance through the cell cycle.
Cyclins regulate CDK kinases and control the timing of mitotic events.
Cyclin D3 forms a complex with CDK4 or CDK6, required for G1/S transition, and is involved in phosphorylation of tumor suppressor Rb.
CDK4 activity associated with Cyclin D3 is necessary for progression through G2 phase into mitosis after UV radiation.
Diseases associated with CCND3 include Retinoblastoma and Plasma Cell Leukemia.
