Target Information
ACVR2B는 TGF-beta 계열 수용체 ser/thr kinase의 type II 멤버로, activin 및 myostatin 신호전달 경로에 관여합니다. Activins와 inhibins는 TGF-beta superfamily에 속하며, 모든 TGF-beta 형태에서 공통적으로 보존된 9개의 cysteine 중 7개의 아미노산 서열을 공유합니다. 현재 포유류에서 7개의 type I 및 5개의 type II activin 수용체가 클로닝되었으며, activin receptor IA, IIA, IB, IIB 등이 포함됩니다. 또한 activin receptor IIA의 두 가지 splice variant와 activin receptor IIB의 다섯 가지 splice variant가 보고되었습니다.
