This antibody detects endogenous levels of total ZMAT3.
Target Information
The ZMAT3 gene encodes a protein containing three zinc finger domains and a nuclear localization signal. Its mRNA and protein are upregulated by wild-type p53. Overexpression of this gene inhibits tumor cell growth, suggesting a role in the p53-dependent growth regulatory pathway. Alternative splicing results in two transcript variants encoding isoforms differing by one amino acid.
