Target Information
ZBTB6는 BTB(BR-C, ttk, bab) 도메인을 포함하는 다양한 zinc finger 단백질군(ZBTB family)에 속합니다.
ZBTB6는 ZNF482로도 알려져 있으며, 뇌에서 높은 발현을 보입니다.
ZBTB4는 메틸화된 DNA에 결합하여 전사를 억제하며, ZBTB5는 전사 억제 인자로 작용하고 BCoR, NCoR, SMRT와 같은 코리프레서 히스톤 디아세틸레이스 복합체와 상호작용합니다.
따라서 ZBTB6 역시 전사 억제 인자로 작용할 가능성이 있습니다.
