Target Information
BBS7 (Bardet-Biedl syndrome 7), also known as BBS2L1, is a component of the BBSome complex required for ciliogenesis but dispensable for centriolar satellite function.
BBS7 function is mediated in part by the Rab8 GDP/GTP exchange factor, which localizes to the basal body and interacts with the BBSome.
