Target Information
CCL4 (macrophage inflammatory protein 1-beta, MIP1B)는 intercrine beta (chemokine CC) 패밀리에 속하는 단백질입니다.
이 단백질은 염증 유도 및 면역세포 이동 조절에 관여하며, 대식세포가 세균 내독소에 의해 자극될 때 생성됩니다.
CCL4는 염증 부위에서 다양한 염증세포를 유도하고, 림프구, 대식세포, 수지상세포에 의해 생성됩니다.
CCL3와 함께 병원체 침입 시 면역세포의 이동 및 활성화를 조절하며, 특히 CCL4는 CD4+ 림프구를, CCL3는 CD8+ 림프구를 선택적으로 유도합니다.
또한 CCL4는 B 세포, 호산구, 수지상세포의 강력한 유인물질로 작용하며, CCR5 수용체 발현을 조절하여 HIV-1의 T 세포 감염을 억제할 수 있습니다.
CCL4는 CCR5 수용체에 높은 친화도로 결합합니다.
