Target Information

Programmed death receptor ligand 1 (PD-L1, also known as B7-H1) is a member of the B7 family. It binds to the programmed death receptor 1 (PD-1), which negatively regulates T-cell receptor (TCR) signaling. PD-L1 engagement reduces TCR-mediated proliferation and cytokine production. PD-L1 is abundantly expressed in many murine and human cancers and can be upregulated by IFN-gamma stimulation, suggesting its role in tumor immune evasion.
