The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
PLTP (Phospholipid Transfer Protein) is one of at least two lipid transfer proteins found in human plasma. It transfers phospholipids from triglyceride-rich lipoproteins to high-density lipoprotein (HDL). In addition to regulating HDL particle size, PLTP may play a role in cholesterol metabolism.
