Product Specific Information
This antibody recognizes bovine L-selectin, also known as CD62L, Leukocyte-endothelial cell adhesion molecule 1 (LECAM-1), or Lymph node homing receptor.
Target Information
Human CD62L is a 74–95 kDa glycoprotein belonging to the selectin family of adhesion receptors. It consists of:
- Aminoterminal C-type lectin binding domain
- Epidermal growth factor-like domain
- Two short consensus repeat (SCR) sequences homologous to complement binding proteins
- Short spacer, transmembrane, and cytoplasmic regions
Human CD62L (L-Selectin) is constitutively expressed on lymphocytes (except memory T cells), monocytes, and polymorphonuclear cells.
